What is Magic The Gathering?
To oversimplify Magic The Gathering is at its core, a strategic Trading Card Game (TCG), where the players take on the roles of powerful spellcasters.
The Players take turns in summoning creatures to fight for them and playing spells to thwart each other, trying to reduce the others life to 0.

COMMANDER
What is Commander?
“Commander is an exciting, unique way to play Magic that is all about awesome legendary creatures, big plays, and battling your friends in epic multiplayer games! In Commander, each player chooses a legendary creature as the commander of their deck. They then play with a 99-card deck that contains only cards of their commander’s colors. Also, other than basic lands, each deck can only use one copy of any card. During the game, you can cast your commander multiple times, meaning your favorite Legendary Creature can come back again and again to lead the charge as you battle for victory!”

MODERN
What is Modern?
Modern is a MTG Format that has no maximum deck size and uses exclussively cards from the Mirrodin card set onwards to the most recent releases.
Your deck must contain at a minimum 60 cards and your side board (if you use one) muse no more than 15 cards. Furthermore, with exception to basic lands and snow-covered lands, your combined deck and sideboard may not contain more than four of any individual card, counted by its English card title equivalent.
AND THATS IT! You’re ready to construct a Modern deck.
